ISLAMABAD: PTI chairman Imran Khan says he won’t accept Nawaz Sharif as the Prime Minister, arguing that he is a ‘culprit’, ARY News reported.
Addressing workers outside his Bani Gala residence, he slammed the use of state machinery by the government to gag PTI voice against corruption.
He asked: “What was my crime that forced government to block roads leading to his Bani Gala residence.” Khan expressed wonder that helicopters were hovering over his residence alongside police deployment outside his place.
Till I am alive, I am not going to spare this man (the prime minister) for his ‘crimes’, he added.
He reiterated his PTI workers to reach Bani Gala tomorrow at all costs. The PTI chairman Khyber Pakhtonkhwa Pervez Khattak will lead all KP workers to Islamabad.
He repeated that his protests and demonstrations were constitutional. Under what law the government is placing containers on roads to hamper PTI workers, he asked.
He called Pervez Rasheed a ‘Darbari’ and said those behind him should be exposed.
He said it’s the same group that targeted Pakistan’s top intelligence agency in connivance with a particular media group.
