KUANTAN: Pakistan will take on arch-rivals India in their crucial 2016 Asian Men’s Hockey Champions Trophy match on Sunday (today), ARY News reports.
Pakistan has played two matches in the tournament so far.
The green shirts’ first match of the competition was against the hosts, which they lost 4-2.
Meanwhile, India started their campaign on a high as they whooped Japan 10-2.
India drew 1-1 against South Korea in their second game of the tournament.
Pakistan managed to beat South Korea 1-0 in a nail-biting contest.
Pakistan is placed at third spot in the standings of the competition’s round robin stage with three points whereas India is at second spot with four points.
