PEMRA places blanket ban on Indian content on radio, television

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) on Wednesday placed a blanket ban on airing Indian content on television or radio, ARY News reported.

According to a notification issued by the authority, the ban on airing Indian content will be applicable from 3PM, October 21, 2016 and any tlelevision or radio channel violating the ban will have its license cancelled without a show-cause notice.
