I bet Imran would not be seen on 30th, says Pervaiz Rashid

MARDAN: Federal Information Minister Pevaiz Rasheed on Sunday betted that Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan would not be seen in Islamabad on October 30. He said where would Imran Khan be sent, it will be revealed later, ARY News reported.

“The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) is dependent on Pakistan Muslim League-N. With a hint of snap of fingers, we can prove our majority in the KP Assembly,” he said while addressing a public rally in Mardan.

He said the government would not let the PTI chief disrupt the agenda of peace and development in the country.

The minister said people wanted improvement in their living standard, and the government was determined to ensure it by eliminating terrorism and implementing mega infrastructure and energy projects.

He said Imran Khan failed in his Raiwind protest march, and again on October 30, he will fail in his design to shut down Islamabad.

Addressing the gathering, Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal said Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will benefit the most from China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

He said the federal government has approved over 100 projects for KP during the last two years.

The minister said Operation Zarb-e-Azb has brought peace to the country, and the world is today describing Pakistan heaven for investment.
