Islamabad will not be closed on October 30: Nawaz

BAKU: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Saturday said that Islamabad will not be allowed to remain close on 30th October, ARY News reported.

Talking to media here Pakistan’s Prime Minister said, “Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) wants to close the federal capital but the government wants it open and Islamabad will remain open on October 30.”

“Our aim is to keep the country functioning whereas some elements do not want the country to progress,” the prime minister said.

The prime minister stated that Kashmir issue is the bone of contention between Pakistan and India.

He said that development work on the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) underway with rapid pace.

He said that the federal government will not approve the hike in gas prices as suggested by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).

Talking on the situation in Karachi, Nawaz Sharif said that the law and order in the city has improved.  He further said that Green Line Bus Service is being introduced in the city.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan has called on the people to reach Islamabad on 30th October to demand the accountability of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif over the Panama Papers.
